The Glenburn Recreation Department will be hosting their annual travel team basketball tournaments for both 3/4 grade and 5/6 grade boys and girls in February and March, and will also host a cheering competition for 4th-6th grade squads.

The basketball tournaments involve eight teams in each age group, and are pool play on Saturday with single elimination games beginning on Sunday afternoon. Each team is guaranteed three (3) games. There will also be a foul shooting contest during halftime of games, with trophies being awarded to the top two shooters.
Openings are available in all tournaments. To reserve your team contact Rec Director Carey Besse at 945-3119 or at mzbesse@myfairpoint.net.
Glenburn is also looking to host their first ever peewee cheering competition for 4-6th grade squads. It will be held on Saturday, Feb 16, 2013. Looking for 12 squads of 4th-6th graders. Please contact the Glenburn Rec Director as soon as possible to register your squad.
