Get Extra Money By Using Affiliate Marketing | Internet and Email ...

Many people are making significant extra cash by working with Website marketing. Many are unsure how they can successfully sell their selves on the net, however reading this article provides you with an idea. This article should be able to help you start making some extra cash with Website marketing.

Don?t discard your hard work when they don?t initially seem productive. In the event that something didn?t work a couple months back, it may work now.

Cutting edge trends arise every day over the internet; remain current and eventually you?ll start one of these trends. Preserve thoughts that didn?t work and learn from them and keep them in your mind in case they may be workable in the future.

One good way to create a contact list would be to create a lead capture page. This stimulates your site guests to supply their own current email address.

It could be a free promotional offer or perhaps a discount in return for their own email address and name. You?ll get another person on your own email and they will get a nice giveaway.

Provide some of your own profit to charity to encourage sales. The fact that you make these kinds of contributions should be commercialized in your web-site. It does not need to be an enormous percentage to see more sales.

Consider adding a blog to web pages that do not change on a regular basis. Search engines like google rank web pages with fresh content better, so if your website is not updated on a regular basis, your ranking will suffer. Also, you are able to include brand new tips to your visitors by having a weblog.

Offer customers with a time-sensitive incentive to place a purchase. A few examples of limited-time offers contain savings for the first five hundred buyers or free shipping for many who purchase over the following 7 days. Create a feeling of urgency by making it apparent when the offer ends.

It should be well-known that people feel admiration for those in authority in a business. Make sure that people recognize that your company has a leader, and you?re it. Try labeling yourself as ?CEO? or even ?President? of the business enterprise.

Promote business on popular internet sites online. Although you will have some cost involved, it will get you noticed. Choose a web page that gets a lot of site traffic, and this will help you get your name out there.

Be sure that the emails you send out to your mailing list are generally individualized. People are likely to believe that impersonal messages are absolutely nothing more than spam.

Laura Jane Grace's Transgender Life: How Has It Affected Her Family?

'My wife has been my rock,' Against Me! frontwoman says, but adds her new life 'has completely ended' her relationship with her father.
By James Montgomery

Last month, Laura Jane Grace very publically came out as transgender in a Rolling Stone feature, bringing to close 31 years of living with a carefully guarded secret and effectively beginning a brand-new life.

Of course, things weren't quite as simple as that: Laura's revelation only came after an intense year-long period of self-evaluation and open, often painful honesty. And when she and her Against Me! mates sat down with MTV News for their first on-camera interview since the Rolling Stone story broke, they spoke at length about just how she came out to the band.

But that's only part of the story. Because before Laura shared the news with her friends, she had to come out to her family, including her wife, Heather. And, as is often the case with life-altering events like this, there's been some collateral damage along the way — including the unwanted attention Laura's transgender life has brought on Heather and their daughter, Evelyn.

"I mean, my daughter is my biggest worry of it all. Heather, my wife, has been my rock; she's shown me support and love beyond my wildest expectations. On this tour in particular, it's our first family tour, and she has, from the get-go, made sure people realize it's Laura, to use the correct pronouns, and has been my biggest advocate and supporter. And whenever I'm feeling like I need any kind of strength, I look to her for that," Laura told MTV News. "For my daughter, I'm hoping it doesn't affect her in any negative way, as far as kids can be cruel to each other, once she starts school. It's already weird enough when your dad is in a band, explaining that to other kids, but when your dad is transsexual as well ... I just hope people are kind to my daughter."

In the Rolling Stone piece, Laura also expressed doubts over just how Heather's parents would handle the news — they're described as "somewhat conservative" — though, as she revealed, she's been overjoyed by the support they've shown her.

"I saw them actually, for the first time [since the RS story published] when we played in Chicago," she said. "I woke up on the bus and they were all in the front lounge, and I came out wearing last night's makeup, my hair was all disheveled, and it was like, 'OK, here's everybody! Good morning!' But they all couldn't have been more supportive and couldn't be cooler about the whole thing."

Sadly, the same can't be said for Laura's father, a retired Army major with whom she's never truly been close. At the conclusion of the RS story, Laura said she still hadn't told her father she was transgender — though obviously, since the news came out, he's aware, and he's had a difficult time coming to terms with her new life. Though, tellingly, Laura isn't letting that stop her on her new path. If anything, it's inspired her to continue — if not for her sake, then for her daughter's.

"It has completely ended my relationship with my father. It is what it is," she said. "For me, there were so many things leading up to this decision to come out to this publicly. Having my daughter, like, I had never had that close of a relationship with my father, and when I had my daughter, my father tried to become more a part of my life, because he obviously wanted to have a relationship with his granddaughter. And as I saw that develop, and as we became closer, because of that it was something that started to tear me up inside.

"It was like, 'OK, here we are, I'm building this relationship and setting this example for my daughter, and what are the ramifications of that if this person doesn't even accept their son? And then they're going to develop a relationship with my daughter; what kind of example is that setting to them?' " she continued. "I wanted this in so many ways to be a line in the sand with people, as far as 'This is me. If you have a problem with this, then get out of my life.' And if that's the way it is. It's unfortunate, but what can I do about it?"

Poll: Obama, Romney even amid economic worries

(AP) ? Fewer Americans believe the economy is getting better and a majority disapproves of how President Barack Obama is handling it, according to a new Associated Press-GfK poll.

Republican challenger Mitt Romney has exploited those concerns and moved into a virtually even position with the president.

Three months of declining job creation have left the public increasingly glum, with only 3 out of 10 adults saying the country is headed in the right direction. Five months before the election, the economy remains Obama's top liability.

Obama has lost the narrow lead he held just a month ago among registered voters. In the new poll, 47 percent say they will vote for the president and 44 percent for Romney, a difference that is not statistically significant. The poll also shows that Romney has recovered well from a bruising Republican primary, with more of his supporters saying they are certain to vote for him now.

Still, in a measure of Romney's own vulnerabilities, even some voters who say they support Romney believe the president will still be re-elected. Of all adults polled, 56 percent believe Obama will win a second term.

With his Republican nomination now ensured, Romney has succeeded in unifying the party behind him and in maintaining a singular focus on making the election a referendum on Obama's handling of the economy. The poll is not good news for the president, and it reflects fluctuations in the economy, which has shown both strength and weakness since it began to recover from the recent recession. The new survey illustrates how an ideologically divided country and a stumbling recovery have driven the two men into a tight match.

About half ? 49 percent ? approve of how Obama is handling his job as president, dropping him below the 50 percent mark he was above in May. Disapproval of Obama is highest ? 55 percent ? for his handling of the economy. Still, registered voters are split virtually evenly on whether Romney or Obama would do a better job improving it.

"I'm not going to vote for Obama," said Raymond Back, a 60-year-old manufacturing plant manager from North Olmsted, Ohio, one of the most competitive states in this election. "It's just the wrong thing to do. I don't know what Romney is going to do, but this isn't the right way."

Obama's overall 49 percent approval rating is not unlike the approval ratings George W. Bush faced in June 2004 during his re-election campaign, when he and his Democratic challenger, John Kerry, were also locked in a dead heat.

The polling numbers come as no surprise to either camp. Both Romney and Obama advisers have anticipated a close contest that will be driven largely by economic conditions. The Obama camp is busy trying to define Romney, hoping it is reaching more independents like Doss Comer, 58, of Jacksonville, N.C., who said he would vote for Obama again, despite the lagging economy.

"I think we are on the wrong track," he said. "We're not getting anywhere. We're not growing. The unemployment rate just spiked up again." But, he added: "I don't trust Romney because of what he's doing. He's telling his business experience, that he was an investor in business. ... I don't think he has the right background any more than Obama."

Besides weak job growth and still high unemployment, Obama is at the mercy of European countries struggling with a debt crisis that has already sent ripples across the Atlantic. At the same time, there are signs that the housing industry may be on the mend. U.S. builders started work on more single-family homes in May and requested the most permits to build homes and apartments in 3 1/2 years.

Those types of crosscurrents are also evident in politics. While preferences for November are evenly split, a majority believes Obama will still be re-elected, a shift from an even split on the question seven months ago. In December, 21 percent of Republicans said they thought Obama would win re-election; that's risen to 31 percent now. And among independents, the share saying Obama will win has climbed from 49 percent to 60 percent. Among Democrats, it was 75 percent in both polls.

Tim Baierlein of Brandon, Fla., believes Romney would be a reassuring voice for a business community worried about regulations and higher taxes. But he said he still thinks Obama will win because the right wing of the Republican Party could alienate voters away from Romney and because, in his view, Romney lacks a clear message.

"He just comes across as very elitist and I think that's going to hurt," he said.

About 4 out of 10 adults say they are worse off now than they were four years ago, compared with nearly 3 out of 10 who say they are doing better now. Among those who say they're doing worse, 60 percent say they plan to vote for Romney in November.

Amy Thackeray, 35, of Alpine, Utah, said her husband and five children experienced the economic downturn when it affected her husband's job. "We've dealt with a pay cut," she said. "We are grateful we still have a job. We live within our means. We save and we feel that in situations like this, it makes us save even more."

"We need someone with more financial and business experience than what Obama has," she said. "We need a president who takes one term and makes the hard decisions to put us back on the right track, and I hope it will be Romney."

The Associated Press-GfK Poll was conducted June 14-18 by GfK Roper Public Affairs & Corporate Communications. It involved landline and cellphone interviews with 1,007 adults nationwide, including 878 registered voters. Results from the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4 percentage points; it is 4.2 points for registered voters.

98 Degrees Reuniting For MixTape Festival Because 'It Just Felt Right'

'We all miss the rush of being onstage together,' Nick Lachey tells Ryan Seacrest.
By Jocelyn Vena

98 Degrees

Back in April, Nick Lachey had the message "#neversaynever" for his fans after he shot down rumors that 98 Degrees would be hitting the road this summer.

The excitement over a possible 98 Degrees reunion began to spread in late March after the band's website was spruced up, leading fans to speculate that something greater was coming. Now, a few months later, the rumors seem to finally be coming true — in part, at least.

The band just announced they will be reuniting for one show this summer. On Wednesday, Nick Lachey opened up to Ryan Seacrest about their plans to take the stage at the MixTape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania, in August.

"I think we've all been lucky in the 11 years since we last performed together to go on and do stuff individually. Drew [Lachey] was the winner of 'Dancing With the Stars' season 2, and I've gone and done some solo stuff. But there really is nothing like coming together as a unit, as a group, as a band, on the stage, and I think we all miss that. We all miss the rush of being onstage together, performing together, and certainly the fans have kind of been clamoring for it, so it just felt right," he said. "We always said we were not broken up, we were just taking a break, and now it just seemed like the right time to put everything back together."

He also clarified his previous declaration that the band would not be getting together at all, despite the original spate of rumors. "I didn't say we weren't going to do it, but there was some speculation about a full tour happening this summer and our fans have been kind of eager to see us get back together," he said. "I just wanted to make sure that they understood that a full tour wasn't happening this summer, but obviously [I'm] very excited to announce that we're doing this big festival in Hershey in August. So that will be our one and only appearance."

While brother Drew notes that they would have to be able to shuffle around their schedules in the right way to make dates outside of the MixTape Festival work, he added that this particular date felt like the right event to test out the waters for something bigger in the future.

"We're very excited about the opportunity, and we've been toying around with the idea for a couple years of 'if we got back together, when would be the right scenario?' " he said. "And this music festival right here just kind of seemed like the right time to get back together and do a show and kick the tires and see how it feels."

Other boy bands on the lineup for the MixTape Festival include the Wanted, New Kids on the Block and New Kids/ Backstreet Boys mega-band NKOTBSB.

Gainesville Eats Better : A Restaurant and Food Blog: Dining in Venice

European restaurants, along with local businesses, are very schizophrenic when it comes to their hours. Take, for example, Trattoria Dai Tosi, the wonderful, locals-only restaurant a few feet from our B&B.? They served up a full menu and pizza but only in the following manner.? Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday they served only the full menu at lunch but no pizza.? At night, they served pizza but no full menu.? Friday-Sunday, they served pizza during the day and full menu at night.? Friday and Saturday, they also served pizza at night, but not on Sunday.? Wednesday they were closed.? Who can keep up!?

For our first night in Italy, we ate at Trattoria Dai Tosi upon the recommendation of our host at the B&B.??? Despite showing up at 7 o'clock to an entirely empty restaurant, they were nearly going to refuse to seat us due to lack of reservations.? Graciously, our B&B host talked them into letting us sit and eat, as he forgot to call in a reservation for us.? Despite our noblest attempts at Italian, the waiter spoke perfect English and helped us through the local customs and selections.? He was the one who explain the spritz spectrum to us and suggested the one with Aperol.? He also advised me to order a different prosciutto plate than the one I asked for, as it was typically given to little children.? I should note that the menu was only in Italian. ?

As I've said many times before, I don't usually eat meat, but will make an exception when warranted.? Most, if not all of the meat like this is from animals who roam the countryside free range or totally wild.? The animals are treated humanely and the quality of the meat is unsurpassed.? That being said, I acknowledge that it's a big plate of slimy pork. But it was really good!? The flavor was very mild yet deeply complex.? It was also super light and I didn't feel disgusting after eating it all.? We also got a mixed salad that you can see in the distance and below.?

We went simple for our main courses: Penne Pomodoro and Spaghetti al Ragu.? The Pomodoro was a simple tomato sauce, yet its flavor was nothing simple.? It was rich and delicious and perfectly executed.? I sat for a few minutes studying it to figure out how they make something so simple taste so good.? I could only conclude that it was the quality of the tomato sauce being used.?

The al Ragu sauce was a simple meat sauce that might otherwise be called Bolognese sauce or something similar.? It was also perfectly executed and had a ton of savory flavor packed into its appropriately proportioned amount.? What I mean by that is the sauce is cooked up with the pasta and becomes one with it.? It's never a huge ladle-full dumped on top at the end.? This is how pasta and sauce are supposed to be served.??

Another night in Venice brought us to a slightly more upscale restaurant called Il Nuovo Galeon, which was situated on Via Garibaldi, just a few minutes from our B&B.? It looked inviting, the menu looked tasty, and the waiter was a very charming old Italian man who spoke very good, though heavily-accented, yet highly amusing English.? We started simply enough with two pasta dishes and a half bottle of wine (PORTION OPTIONS!).? I ordered the penne al'arrabiata and my wife ordered the penne quatro formaggio (grown up mac n cheese).? Hers was pretty good, but mine was outstanding.? This dish of pasta was easily one of the best I've had, with the penne perfectly al dente and the sauce oh-so perfect.? Again, notice how it's just cooked in with the pasta; it's not drowning it.? Arrabiata sauce is supposed to be a bit spicier than regular pomodoro sauce, but this one was just plain delicious.? I didn't detect too much spice, but there was a ton of flavor.? The paremsan cheese certainly helped (and was oddly pre-applied to the pasta when it was served).? As you can tell from the photo, this portion of pasta isn't very large.? That's because it's only a primi piatti, or first dish.? You're supposed to order more food for your secondi.? Since I was still hungry and feeling adventurous, I asked the waiter to recommend something local and traditional.? Enter the Fritto Misto.

Fritto Misto is a plate of various, mixed seafood from the Venetian lagoon lightly fried and served with a slice of lemon.? I'm well aware that I've lambasted similar plates of deep fried everything on this blog, most recently in the review of Blue Water Bay.? However, look at this plate.? Notice how reasonably sized it is.? I will add that the food was very lightly fried.? Mostly, the flavor of the fresh fish dominated, as opposed to the batter and grease that typically do here in the States.? What you have on this wonderful plate is sardines, shrimp, calamari, seaweed, and one thing I'm not quite sure of (it's the wider strips towards the bottom).? It was fantastic.? The shrimp had a rich flavor and light fluffy texture that I didn't know were possible from a shrimp.? The calamari was to die for.? I think squid and octopus are marvels of nature and am generally opposed to eating them.? This was the one exception I could justify.? It was local, it was sea raised, and it was delicious.? The sardines were very fishy and not terribly pleasant.? I forced myself to eat them, however, as I believe I have to eat the once living creature that I ordered no matter what.??

Another option for those with smaller appetites is the cicchetti (bar finger food) that you could order with some drinks.? Each place serves something different, and to be honest, most of them weren't worth getting.? At our favorite bar, El Refolo on Via Garibaldi, however, they served up delicious little sandwiches that they made in house for only 2 euro each. ? Pictured above is zucchini with brie and salami.? The little breads were lightly toasted and served very quickly.? One night, we just made our dinner out of these, along with a few spritzes each for only 20 euro (4 sandwiches, 4 drinks).?

Even though I've already spent most of my time indiscriminately buying every piece of food that looks interesting or delicious, I do try to make some choices that will help the budget rather than dig us deeper.? For example, pizza night can be a wonderful dining option when you're looking to eat on the cheap.? We returned to Trattoria Dai Tosi for take out pizza (we didn't want to deal with the lack of reservations again).? What we ended up with was a wonderful dinner al fresco with a box of delicious funghi pizza and a bottle of Verona wine.? It was excellent pizza, excellent wine, and we were eating right by the water, staring out at the lagoon as the sun set.? Why pay a ton of money to do this at a restaurant when you can do it for 17 euro?

I'll close the Italian section with something sweet: gelato. ? We sampled many wonderful flavors across the city and region (pistachio, dark cherry, tiramisu), but the one below was by far my favorite.? Grom is known as one of the best gelatiers, using organic ingredients and creating unusual flavor combinations.? Typically, I order the stupidest thing on the menu when at an ice cream establishment (Triple fudge brownie with butterfinger cone topped with jelly beans, sprinkles, strawberries, caramel, and wasabi peas).? In fact, I'm known for my poor decision making when faced with a dessert decisions.? Over the years, however, I've reigned in my enthusiasm and learned to make smarter choices.? So, on a warm June afternoon in Padova, milk and mint was the selection to be made.? It was outstanding.? It wasn't quite vanilla based, but was simply light and creamy and minty fresh! We also got the double dark chocolate and would mix bites into a delicious combination.?

?
So, there you have my Italian entry into the travel food blog.? If you thought this was good, wait till you see/read about France!
