This Vacation Plan A Trip To Costa Rica

If there was heaven on earth, it would be located in Costa Rica for sure! A small country in Central America, Costa Rica is one of the most beautiful and greenest countries in the world. It is home to rainforests, beautiful beaches and even volcanoes. People, who want to spend time amidst nature and beauty, should definitely look for cheap flights to Costa Rica. They will not be disappointed once they get here.

Thankfully, cheap tickets to Costa Rica are a reality even though it is a popular tourist destination. Several leading airlines, such as British Airways, Air France and US Airways, offer cheap flight deals that make flights to this country extremely affordable. The peak season is between December and April when the country does not experience too much rainfall. This is the perfect time to visit rainforests and spot the wildlife. However, this is also the time when people flock here. On the other hand, between May and November is the winter season and the nature comes to life, as this is when the Rain Gods shower their love on the country. It sure has an amazing effect, as everything is transformed and looks very beautiful. The best time to book affordable flights to Costa Rica is in the month of March, especially from the United States.

The country is flanked by the Pacific on one side and the Atlantic on the other. So there are many beaches to enjoy. Some of the beaches are best suited for surfers, while others, such as Jacob Beach, are for people looking to have fun in a party-like environment. There are also beaches that are perfect for swimming and sunbathing. So vacationers will be able to find a beach to suit their requirements.

The biggest attraction here is undoubtedly the beauty of nature. Be sure to visit the Tortuguero Conservation Area, which is towards the Nicaraguan border. This is the place to see green turtles. A visit to the Barra Del Colorado National Wildlife Refuge is a unique place, as visitors will be able to see how water canals have been integrated with the beaches. The waterways are full of marine life, such as Gaspar fish and river manatees. However, in the surrounding areas are home to monkeys, sloths, jaguars and pumas.

Another place to visit is the Irazu National Park, which is home to the tallest volcano in the country. In the central part of the country, on the slopes of Turrialba Volcano, there is a pre-Columbian archaeological site, the Guayabo National Monument, which is also worth a visit. The Turrialba Volcano is an active volcano and worth visiting.

Be sure to check out art galleries, as the country is known for its beautiful sculptures and paintings. If you are lucky, you will be able to pick up a few oil paintings to take back home as a souvenir of your unforgettable holiday in this green and friendly country.
