The zombies are coming! The zombies are coming! AMC announced Friday at Comic-Con that its hit series "The Walking Dead" is set to kick off season three on Oct. 14. Eight episodes will air before the show takes a little midseason break, and "Dead" returns again in February for the second half of the season.
AMC also premiered a four-minute trailer that highlighted the prison teased in the season two finale, new characters Michonne and The Governor, the town of Woodbury and ... the return of Merle Dixon! Check it out:
